Research
For over five years, I have been researching the relationship between newborn behaviors, birth outcomes, and medications while working in a high-risk hospital environment. During this time, I have implemented interventions such as providing access to appropriate resources and promoting early diagnosis to enhance outcomes related to feeding disorders. Presently, my studies focus on the mental health impacts of undiagnosed feeding disorders in the early postpartum period, as well as the long-term effects of neglected care interventions.

Colleagues
Professional experience encompasses roles at Baystate Medical Center, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, WIC, and private practice. I have engaged in project development with Early Intervention, the NBCC Foundation, and community healthcare workers in Massachusetts and Connecticut. My academic background includes degrees in public health, early childhood education, and clinical mental health counseling. Additionally, I hold certificates in childbirth education, lactation, perinatal mental health, and trauma specialization.

Speaking Engagements

Topics covered include 'Abnormal Feeding Impacts and Perinatal Mental Health', 'Re-Calibrating NAS Outcomes through Co-Regulation', 'Feeding and Bonding with the NAS Newborn', 'Tales from an IBCLC', and the upcoming clinician training course, 'The Birth Impact'.
